Whenever you kill an enemy or complete a quest in Borderlands 3, you will be awarded with Experience Points. Collect enough of these and you gain a level, which will award you with a new Skill Point that you can use on your character, as well as getting a health increase. Leveling up makes the game a lot easier, but do you know what the level cap in Borderlands 3 is set to be?
The level cap in Borderlands 3 is set to level 50. This is with only the base game, and it might be increased to a higher level in an upcoming DLC.
However, if you keep playing after you hit level 50, you can get additional "Guardian Ranks". These also give you Skill Points, allowing you to create a much more powerful Vault Hunter than a regular level 50 one. It's a bit like the Badass system in Borderlands 2, but a lot more powerful, and on a per character basis.
